In this much anticipated class, learn how to make Croquembouche, aka a Tower of Choux Pastry mounted and decorated with glaze and chocolate! A real treat for Julianna Banana Families and not to be missed.

Pair up with your favorite kitchen buddy and join Cordon Bleu trained instructors and learn to make, bake and decorate croquembouche!

Details:

  • Guided 3hr In-Person class in our Julianna Banana kitchen, also home to the Parkdale Food Centre
  • Small size classes: LIMITED spots
  • Ages: Registration is for 1 caregiver and 1 junior chef (8yrs plus). Make it family fun time! Teen Bakers (14yrs plus) can also join on their own
  • make and bake choux pastry
  • make a cream filing and fill the pastry
  • make a glaze in a colour of choice
  • attach their pastry on pre-made cones to form a tower (tree of profiteroles/cream puffs)
  • Participants will bring home the pastry tower they make in class

Included:

  • All ingredients and equipment will be provided for kids to make and decorate their croquembouche
  • Julianna Banana aprons for them to use during class
  • 2hr culinary experience!
  • Recipe and extra ingredients to bring home
