These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants and caregivers attending the Culinary Workshop held in the Cafeteria of Nepean High School. By participating in the event, attendees acknowledge and agree to the following:
Food Consumption on the Premises and Allergens
- All attendees acknowledge that there will be food available for consumption during the event and they will consume food items at their own discretion. The organizers are not responsible for any adverse reactions.
- Food prepared during the workshop is intended for on-site educational consumption only and not for resale
- Food items available for consumption may contain common allergens, including but not limited to eggs, dairy, wheat, soy, nuts, and other potential allergens.
- While we do our very best in preparing foods without the use of peanuts or tree nuts, we are not able to guarantee allergen-free foods as items are not prepared in an allergen-free kitchen. Cross-contamination may occur. Please do speak to a Julianna Banana representative for additional information in allergen risk mitigation.
- By participating, attendees acknowledge that the food available for consumption and environment cannot be guaranteed allergen-free and accept all associated risks.
Safety and Security
- The event will take place in the Cafeteria of Nepean High School.
- Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by facilitators and school staff, including adherence to school policies.
- Julianna Banana, its staff, and affiliates are not liable for any damages, injuries, losses, or incidents that may arise during the use of the school space for the event.
- Caregivers remain responsible for the supervision and conduct of minors in their care throughout the event.
- Should any participants be involved in any Culinary Demonstrations during the event, Julianna Banana does not assume any responsibility for any injuries or damages incurred during the use of any of its equipment, tools or material.
Photography and Privacy
- Julianna Banana recognizes that this is a school-based event and is committed to protecting the privacy of the student community.
- Julianna Banana and organizers may take photos during the workshop for branding awareness or marketing purposes, but no identifiable images of students or minors will be used.
- Acceptable photography include images of hands completing food preparation, group photos where faces are not visible or are intentionally blurred, and environmental shots that do not reveal identity.
- Caregivers may opt out of this photography policy by providing notice to event staff on the night of the event.
- No photos will be taken or used in a manner that compromises student privacy.
Acceptance of Terms
By attending the Culinary Workshop, participants and caregivers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
